Another snowy morning on Marshall Mesa

This has become my new favorite riding activity, to the extent that if it snows between 1 and 4 inches in Boulder I'll be out riding singletrack the next morning. As long as you get there quickly, before things get tracked out or the snow starts to melt into mud the riding is superb. Last time out it was seriously cold, around 3 degrees F, with 2-3 inches of fresh snow. This Tuesday we awoke to 2-3" of fresh but much warmer, around 30. I knew that by noon it would all be gone, so I convinced Kate and Spencer to head out with me early to enjoy the day. Only took one picture, of the his and her white singlespeed team, but you get the idea. Beautiful blue sky, warm grippy snow, and fun trails. Doesn't get much better.
