Chevy Volt 230 mpg?!

I call shenanigans.

Am I really supposed to believe that GM, after years and years and years of dicking around with their hands in the SUV cookie jar, have suddenly come up with an affordable family car that gets, wait for it, over four times the fuel economy of a Toyota Prius??!??! Um.... maybe someone should have a talk with GM's marketing department about plausible one-up-manship. If they say 100, you say 105, not 900...

Anyways, desperate for a dose of reality, I knew just where to head...
